Born in Milan on the 5th of August 1994.
Graduated at Chelsea College of Art (UAL) in 2017.
I live and work between Milan, Pietrasanta and London.
My work is focused on costume in contemporary society.
I’m inspired by models from global popular culture, by the advertising and the fashion world and the contrasting dialect that they have with the traditional Italian cultural environment.
I use irony as a method to portray the encounter between contemporary narratives and the more idiosyncratic mythologies.
I often look at the immediacy of naive art, with its straightforward figurative features and at phenomenon such as tourism, where globalisation meets local cultural stereotypes.
I’m interested in the perception of the “Italian” and “mediterranean” through the aesthetic of souvenirs, in popular art and in the communicative power of photographic images.
